  1. Who we are

Anuraj Pharma Chemicals (“Anuraj”, “we”, “us”) is a pharmaceutical raw materials and nutraceutical formulations business registered at B/305, Kanara Business Centre, Laxminagar, Ghatkopar East, Mumbai 400075, Maharashtra, India. We are the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data collected through this website.

  1. What we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to submit it to us through our enquiry form. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal data simply because you have browsed the site.

The enquiry form collects the following, and we use each of them only for the purpose shown:

  • Company name — to understand who the enquiry is from and respond appropriately
  • Contact person — to address our response to the correct individual
  • Email address — to respond to your enquiry
  • Phone number (optional) — to respond by telephone where that is quicker
  • Enquiry type, product of interest and indicative quantity (optional) — to route the enquiry internally and prepare a useful response
  • Message content — to understand and answer your enquiry

We do not use web analytics on this site, and we do not set tracking or advertising cookies.

  1. Why we process it, and on what basis

We process this data for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to a business relationship, to correspond with you about it. We rely on your consent, given when you tick the consent box on the enquiry form. Your consent is specific to that purpose, and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to the Grievance Officer named in Section 12.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. If you withdraw it, we will stop processing your data and delete it, unless we are required by law to retain it.

We do not use enquiry data for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

  1. Who else sees it
  • Our hosting and form provider. Enquiry submissions are processed by our website host, which acts as a Data Processor on our behalf under contract.
  • Our email provider. Enquiry notifications are delivered to our company email.
  • Where the law requires it. We may disclose data if compelled by a court, regulator or law enforcement authority.

We do not otherwise share enquiry data with third parties, including our suppliers and partners, without your knowledge.

  1. Transfers outside India

Our website host may store or process enquiry data on servers located outside India. Where that happens, the transfer is made only to countries not restricted by the Central Government for this purpose, and our host is bound by contract to protect the data to the standard set out in this policy.

If you would like to know where your data is currently held, write to the Grievance Officer and we will tell you.

  1. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for 36 months from the date of your last contact with us, after which it is deleted. Where an enquiry becomes an ongoing commercial relationship, we retain records for as long as that relationship continues and thereafter for the period required by applicable tax and company law.

  1. How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to enquiry submissions is limited to the people at Anuraj who need it in order to respond, and is protected by individual account credentials. We review these arrangements periodically.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

  1. If there is a data breach

If personal data we hold is lost, accessed without authorisation, or otherwise compromised, we will act promptly to contain it and assess what has happened.

We will notify the Data Protection Board of India, and every affected person, in the form and within the time required by law. Our notice to you will describe, so far as we know it, the nature and extent of the breach, when it occurred, the likely consequences, what we have done in response, what you can do to protect yourself, and how to contact us about it.

  1. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is being processed
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete, or complete data that is partial
  • Ask us to erase your data, subject to any legal obligation we have to keep it
  • Withdraw your consent to our processing of it
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
  • Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved

To exercise any of these, write to the Grievance Officer named in Section 12. We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within the period prescribed by law, and in any event within 30 days.

  1. Children

This website is directed at businesses and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of eighteen, and we do not direct any tracking or advertising at children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact the Grievance Officer and we will delete it.

  1. Language of this notice

This policy is published in English. If you would prefer to receive it in Hindi or any other language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, write to the Grievance Officer and we will provide it.
